In our visit, we were fortunate to meet the BPI Assistant Vice President and co-author of the book about Philippine currency, entitled “Salapi: The Numimastic Heritage of the Philippines.” He personally toured as around the facility explaining about the relevance of the Museum building and its collection. The two-storey BPI Museum and Library building was designed by renowned Filipino architect Juan Marcos Arellano. Arellano’s "JMA" monogram is rendered in art deco style on the window grills. A historical marker was installed in the premises in 2010.

During our visit, the ambience of the place brings us back to the American occupation here in the country - the grand columns, high ceiling and the artistics steel works seen on the windows of the place which is a hidden signature of the architect. It also boosts a showcase of old money, bankpassbook collection, bank equipment past to present and it gives you a little trivia of the place and how it came to be. If you want to go around the place the approximate time is 1 to 2 hours.
